Our company

Pesquera Bahia Chilota (Bahia Chilota Fishery) is located at the entrance of the bay of Chilota, near Porvenir, in Tierra del Fuego, south of Chile. 

It was founded by a group of fishermen, originally from the islands of Chiloe, who after establishing themselves in the Island of Tierra del Fuego, created the village of Bahia Chilota, and decided to unite their energy in order to market and sell their catches.

The company still works closely with the community of fishermen today, to ensure the availability and premium quality of their diverse and freshly caught products. These fishermen arrive daily with their catches, which are processed in our plant and are then exported to customers around the world.
